CKF55 Xtreme — Xtreme shape with a Balanced response
The Evolution CKF55 Xtreme is for players whose hockey genuinely benefits from Xtreme shape and who want a Balanced response.
Why choose the CKF55 Xtreme?
Choose this stick when Xtreme shape solves a real reverse-stick or 3D requirement and you want a less direct response than the CKF85 or CF95 Xtreme constructions.
Xtreme bend / shape
Xtreme is Mercian's specialist route for reverse-stick lifting and 3D play. The CKF55 Xtreme specification gives a 24.5 mm maximum bend at 200 mm from the head.
Balanced response
The CKF55 Xtreme sits in Mercian's Balanced response band. Its current construction combines 55% carbon, 30% fibreglass and 15% Kevlar.
Construction, touch and control
- M-Gel in the handle: helps absorb vibration from power skills.
- Piezo-electric fibres: provide additional vibration management.
- High-friction face finish: increases contact friction and adds damping.
- Nano-polymer resin and TCD Kevlar: support laminate bonding and durability.
- Cold Touch lacquer: provides the cool-touch surface finish.
These features help explain the finished stick. They do not replace the more important bend and response decisions.
When another current option may suit better
If you want to keep Xtreme shape with a more direct response, compare CKF85 Xtreme in Balanced / Direct or CF95 Xtreme in Direct / Powerful.
Sizes
The current product is configured in 35", 36.5" and 37.5". Live availability is shown above.

Check the player requirement before you buy.
Outdoor choice starts with fit and the hockey you actually play. Bend, shape and construction should explain a useful difference, not create a good-better-best ladder.
Position, player level and carbon percentage can help describe a stick, but none of them automatically decides what suits you.
