CKF35 Ultimate V2 — Ultimate V2 shape with a Softer / Balanced response
The Evolution CKF35 Ultimate V2 is for players whose hockey genuinely benefits from Ultimate V2 shape and who want a Softer / Balanced response.
Why choose the CKF35 Ultimate V2?
Choose this stick when Ultimate V2 shape solves a real skill requirement but you do not want the very direct response of the highest-stiffness Ultimate V2 constructions.
Ultimate V2 bend / shape
Ultimate V2 is Mercian's aggressive specialist low-bow route for drag flicking, aerials, lifting and 3D play. The CKF35 Ultimate V2 specification gives a 24.5 mm maximum bend at 200 mm from the head.
Softer / Balanced response
The CKF35 Ultimate V2 sits in Mercian's Softer / Balanced response band. Its construction uses 35% carbon with a fibreglass-rich laminate, combining specialist shape with a more forgiving response.
Construction, touch and control
- M-Gel in the handle: helps absorb vibration from power skills.
- Kevlar reinforcement: supports durability.
- High-friction face finish: increases contact friction and adds damping.
- Nano-polymer resin: supports laminate bonding.
These features help explain the finished stick. They do not replace the more important bend and response decisions.
