CF95 Pro — Pro shape with a Direct / Powerful response
The Elite CF95 Pro is for players who want Mercian's broad all-round Pro shape together with a Direct / Powerful response.
Why choose the CF95 Pro?
Choose this stick when all-round low-bow shape suits the player and you want the most direct response band in the current Mercian range. Pro describes the shape; Direct / Powerful describes the finished response.
Pro bend / shape
Pro is Mercian's broad all-round low-bow route. On the CF95 Pro, the current product specification gives a 23.5 mm maximum bend at 230 mm from the head, keeping the shape versatile across passing, receiving, carrying and striking.
Direct / Powerful response
The CF95 Pro sits in Mercian's Direct / Powerful response band. Its construction uses 95% carbon around a fibreglass micro-skeleton, giving a very stiff, direct platform without treating carbon percentage as a quality score.
Construction, touch and control
- Nano-polymer resin: strengthens laminate bonding and helps reduce delamination risk.
- Tungsten Carbide Diffused Kevlar: supports durability.
- High-friction face finish: increases contact friction and adds damping.
- Piezo-electric fibres and M-Gel: provide two forms of vibration management.
These features help explain the finished stick. They do not replace the more important bend and response decisions.
When another current option may suit better
If you want the same broad all-round route with a less direct response, compare CKF85 Pro in Balanced / Direct or CKF55 Pro and CKF65 Pro in Balanced. If specialist skills genuinely require a specialist shape, the Xtreme or Ultimate V2 families solve a different shape requirement.
Sizes
The current product is configured in 36.5" and 37.5". Live availability is shown above.

Outdoor choice starts with fit and the hockey you actually play. Bend, shape and construction should explain a useful difference, not create a good-better-best ladder.
Position, player level and carbon percentage can help describe a stick, but none of them automatically decides what suits you.
