CK95 Ultimate V2 — specialist low bow with a Direct / Powerful response
The Elite CK95 Ultimate V2 is for players whose hockey genuinely benefits from an aggressive low bow for drag flicking, aerials, lifting and 3D play, and who want a Direct / Powerful response.
Why choose the CK95 Ultimate V2?
Choose it when Ultimate V2 shape solves a real skill requirement and you want a very direct high-carbon construction. Ultimate V2 provides the specialist shape; Direct / Powerful describes the finished response.
Ultimate V2 bend / shape
The current specification gives a 24.5 mm maximum bend at 200 mm from the head, with a thinner toe and sculpted head to support ball control, lifting, drag flicking and aerial skills.
Direct / Powerful response
The CK95 sits in Mercian's Direct / Powerful response band. Its current construction uses a 95% carbon lay-up over a Kevlar skeleton, with a quad-carbon sleeve designed to support 360-degree strength and energy transfer.
Construction and control
- Quad-carbon sleeve: supports strength and energy transfer around the shaft.
- Nano-polymer resin: strengthens laminate bonding and helps reduce delamination risk.
- Tungsten Carbide Diffused Kevlar: supports durability.
- Piezo-electric fibres and M-Gel: provide dual-process vibration management.
The percentages explain how the stick is built; they are not a quality or player-level score.
When another current option may suit better
For the same Ultimate V2 shape with a less direct response, compare CKF35 Ultimate V2 or CKF75 Ultimate V2. Within Direct / Powerful, compare CKF90 Ultimate V2 or the CK95SC Ultimate V2 if Solid Core construction is the specific feature you want.
Sizes
The current product is configured in 36.5" and 37.5". Live availability is shown above.

Outdoor choice starts with fit and the hockey you actually play. Bend, shape and construction should explain a useful difference, not create a good-better-best ladder.
Position, player level and carbon percentage can help describe a stick, but none of them automatically decides what suits you.
