Mercian Genesis CF25 (2021)
Mercian Genesis CF25 (2021)
2021 legacy model. The Genesis CF25 remains a valid Mercian choice where the player's fit, Pro shape and preference for a softer / balanced response match. It is previous-generation stock: price and remaining availability are purchase trade-offs, not reasons for suitability.
How it fits the Mercian choice system
- Fit: 34-inch to 37.5-inch lengths.
- Bend: Pro on the currently listed variants, supporting all-round skills without an aggressive specialist shape.
- Response: Softer / Balanced — more structure than the softer CF5/CF15 options while retaining useful touch.
Construction and feel
25% carbon over a predominantly fibreglass structure with M-Gel vibration control. Carbon percentage describes construction and response; it is not a player-level score.
Trade-off: choose the CF25 where fit, Pro shape and response match, then compare legacy price and remaining stock with the current CF25. This is a 2021 legacy model, not the current range.

OUTDOOR STICK GUIDANCE
Check the player requirement before you buy.
Outdoor choice starts with fit and the hockey you actually play. Bend, shape and construction should explain a useful difference, not create a good-better-best ladder.
Position, player level and carbon percentage can help describe a stick, but none of them automatically decides what suits you.
